Write within 14 days of your purchase and you get your money back. No reason needed, no questions asked.

How to ask

Email hello@meowtenance.app from the address you used to buy, or include the order reference from your receipt. That is all that is required — you do not have to explain yourself.

You can also contact Polar directly, using the details on your receipt. Polar is the Merchant of Record for the sale and can process the refund without going through me.

How long it takes

I aim to acknowledge refund requests within two working days. Once the refund is issued, how quickly it appears depends on your bank — typically 5 to 10 working days.

Why the policy is this simple

Meowtenance is a one-time $14 purchase, and there is a free version that scans everything and cleans the defined categories as a whole, so you can reclaim space on your own Mac before paying. If you paid and it still was not worth it, arguing about it would cost us both more than the refund.

After a refund

The licence to the full version ends with the refund. The free version remains available to you, as it is to everyone.

Statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to any rights you have under consumer law in your country. It does not limit them. If your local law gives you a longer withdrawal period or stronger protection, that applies.
